The Parlor — tonight's recommendation and oxidation alerts

“Bottle 47 was… good? Smoky, maybe?”

You've spent thousands building the shelf — and your impressions of it live in a dying group chat and a memory that blurs after the second dram. Meanwhile something rare has been sitting open for fourteen months, quietly oxidizing into regret.

01 — The Parlor

Never stand in front of the shelf wondering.

Open the app and tell it the mood. The Parlor knows your whole cellar — what's open, what's rated, what fits a celebration versus a quiet Tuesday — and puts one bottle in front of you.

  • Mood-matched recommendations

Celebratory reaches for the high-proof unicorns. Sharing favors approachable pours with enough left in the bottle.

  • Oxidation alerts, front and center

A bottle under a third full is on the clock. The Parlor tells you before it fades — 'finish within 3 months' beats finding out too late.

  • Your shelf at a glance

Open, sealed, and killed counts, plus the palate insights the app has learned about you.

02 — The Cellar

Every bottle carries its own story.

Snap the label and the AI reads it — name, style, proof, age — before you've set your glass down. From there each bottle tracks what matters: what you paid, how long it's been open, and exactly how much is left.

  • The label reads itself

Point the camera at a bottle and on-device AI fills the entry — name, style, proof, age, even the batch number. No typing 'Uigeadail' with whisky in hand.

  • Fill levels you drag

Slide the level after a heavy weekend. Oxidation logic watches it and speaks up when a bottle needs finishing.

  • Store picks, remembered

Single-barrel selections carry their barrel number and the story of the hunt. Batches and mashbills live on the bottle.

03 — The Pour

Thirty seconds, mid-dram. That's the whole ritual.

Pick the bottle in your glass. Tap the flavors you're actually tasting. Then just talk — the mic listens while you ramble, and on-device intelligence turns your half-formed impressions into a tasting note worth keeping.

  • Flavor chips, not essays

Peat smoke, burnt sugar, rich toffee — tap what's there. The wheel does the vocabulary for you.

  • Speak, don't type

'The smoke is more medicinal than I remember…' becomes a polished first-person note. Nothing leaves your phone.

  • Just a glass

A friend's pour, a bar dram, a club tasting — log it in ten seconds. It teaches your palate without touching your shelf or your bottle count.

04 — The Palate

An app that actually learns your taste.

Sherry & Smoke. 105–115 proof. Islay & Highlands. After enough pours, Private Reserve can describe your palate better than you can — and every recommendation, everywhere in the app, draws on it.

  • Your soul in a bottle

The profile distills your ratings into the flavors, proof band, and regions you actually love.

  • The House Read

The sommelier's written verdict on you — where your palate is drifting, what to hunt next. Rewritten after every pour, composed on your phone.

  • The Graveyard

Killed bottles rest in grayscale with their final verdicts — a record of everything the shelf has taught you.

The privileges

Also in the membership

Members only, cellar private

One tap with Sign in with Apple at the door — then your cellar, notes, and palate stay on your phone. Nothing you pour is mined, sold, or fed to a feed.

The insurance export

One tap produces a complete CSV of the cellar — every bottle, price, date, and note. Your collection, documented like it deserves.

Swipe to kill

When a bottle gives its last pour, swipe it to the Graveyard — it rests in grayscale with its final verdict, part of the record forever.

New — the back room

Your drinking club, behind a password.

Open a room, hand your people the password, and the night runs itself — talk at the bar, pass the bottle, pin your verdicts. No feed, no strangers, no algorithm — just the six friends whose palates you actually trust.

  • A password at the door

Six characters, shared over the group chat. If you don't know it, you're not getting in.

  • The bar

Every room has a running conversation — banter, bottle talk, and pinned verdicts pour into one feed. The Uigeadail argument finally has a scoreboard.

  • One seat on the house

Every member can join one speakeasy free. Reserve Pro holds the keys — open your own rooms and take a seat in every club.

Finish a tasting and one tap renders your rating, note, and flavor chips into a sealed card built for the group chat. No screenshots of a notes app. No “trust me, it was good.”

House rules

Fair questions

Is my cellar private?+

Completely. Membership is one tap with Sign in with Apple — after that, your cellar, notes, and palate profile live on your phone. The only thing that ever leaves is a verdict you choose to pin to your speakeasy.

What's the Speakeasy?+

A private room for your drinking club. Open one, share the six-character password, and the room runs the night — chat at the bar, log glasses of whatever's being passed around, pin your verdicts. One club seat is free for every member; Reserve Pro opens your own rooms and holds a seat in every club.

Do I have to talk into my phone?+

No — the flavor chips alone make a fine note. But the voice ramble is where the magic is: you say what you actually taste, and it comes back as a note worth keeping.

What if I drink more than whisky?+

The cellar shelves anything — gin, rum, agave, brandy. The deep tasting coaching starts with whisky; agave and rum wheels are on the roadmap.

What does it cost?+

Ten bottles and a speakeasy seat free, forever. Reserve Pro — the unlimited cellar, AI notes, the full palate profile, and the speakeasy keys — is $29.99 a year or $4.99 a month.

Where do I get it?+

The App Store, on iPhone. Android is coming July 31, 2026. The first ten bottles and a speakeasy seat are on the house — you can fill a shelf and log a proper tasting before you decide whether Reserve Pro is worth it.

The dues

Fair for a members' club

The first ten bottles and a seat at one speakeasy are on the house, forever. Reserve Pro — the unlimited cellar, AI-polished notes, the full palate profile, and the keys to open your own rooms — is $29.99 a year or $4.99 a month. Less than one forgettable pour at a hotel bar.

The doors are open.

Pour something tonight and let the house remember it for you.
